Laborer- South Texas Region

Job Description Responsibilities Work on roofs, multi-level structures, scaffolds and ladders. Shovel dirt and/or rubble.

Maintain a clean job site:

pick up all tools and equipment and secures job site each day to eliminate potential hazards. Perform material handling and storage. Load and unload trucks, manually haul and/or hoist materials. Ensure that work is performed in a safe manner; ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed; convey problems to the attention of foreman, superintendent or safety manager. Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor on construction projects. Perform manual work in preparing surfaces. Requirements Commercial construction site experience preferred Must pass pre-hire screenings Travel May be required to travel between, to, and from job-sites. Physical Demands Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, extreme cold, and extreme heat. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; and high and/or precarious places. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, and vibration; the noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Hours of Work This is a full-time position. This position frequently requires longer hours and weekend hours. Field management will determine appropriate hours of operation for their respective job-sites, which may vary.
