Job Summary:

As a Site Preparation Laborer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and safe execution of our directional drilling projects. You will be responsible for preparing job sites, assisting with equipment setup, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This is an entry-level position that offers hands-on experience and a direct pathway to understanding the directional drilling process. We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn. Must be able to work out of town. Lodging and daily per diem is provided.

• Responsibilities and Duties:

• Site Preparation:

  Clear and prepare job sites, including removing debris, vegetation, and other obstructions. Set up safety cones, barriers, and signage to ensure a safe work zone. Dig trenches and pits as required for drilling operations and utility connections. Assist with the setup and staging of drilling equipment and materials.

Equipment Assistance:

Help with the loading and unloading of tools, equipment, and supplies. Assist drill operators and locators as needed during drilling operations. Clean and maintain tools and equipment before, during, and after use. Operate small power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.

Support & Safety:

Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Perform other general labor duties as assigned to support project completion.

• Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience:

  Previous general labor or construction experience is a plus, but not strictly required. We are willing to train enthusiastic individuals.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions, including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly, standing, walking, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.

Work Ethic:

Strong work ethic, reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude

Teamwork:

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions .

Safety Consciousness:

A strong commitment to safety practices and procedures.

Legal Eligibility:

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Drug Testing:

Applicants will be responsible for cost of drug test. Company will reimburse applicant, if they pass the drug test.

Preferred Qualifications:

Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record (CDL is a plus).
