Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Construction Laborer to support electrical crews by cleaning and maintaining electrical equipment and work areas on active construction sites. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment, panels, tools, and surrounding areas remain clean, organized, and safe throughout all phases of construction. The ideal candidate follows safety procedures, works well in a team environment, and is comfortable working in industrial construction settings. Key Responsibilities Clean electrical equipment, panels, switchgear, conduits, cable trays, and related components using approved methods and materials Remove dust, dirt, debris, packaging, and construction materials from electrical work areas Assist electricians and supervisors with general site cleanup and material handling Maintain organized and hazard-free workspaces Safely use cleaning tools, vacuums, rags, and other equipment as required Follow all OSHA, company, and site-specific safety requirements Identify and report damaged equipment or unsafe conditions to supervisors Dispose of waste materials properly and maintain environmental compliance Support daily site operations and perform other labor duties as assigned Qualifications Basic understanding of construction site safety practices Ability to work in physically demanding environments Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, and walk for extended periods Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required Skills & Abilities Strong attention to detail Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures Dependable and team-oriented Good work ethic and positive attitude Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments Work Environment industrial construction sites Exposure to dust, noise, and varying weather conditions Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required at all times Schedule Full-time Overtime and weekend work may be required based on project needs
