Seasonal Laborer

Summary:

Elberta Valley Ag is seeking Seasonal Laborers to assist in the day-to-day operational duties which may include operating heavy machinery and general maintenance.

Responsibilities:

Upkeep ranch appearance by repairing farm buildings, fences, and other structures. Operate farm and heavy equipment such as loaders, harvesters, tractors, skid loader, and trucks. Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment. Properly and safely care for animals. Daily work may include independent tasks and collaborative teamwork.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational school or trade apprenticeships a plus. Familiar with irrigation processes. General knowledge of construction tool use preferred. Strong demonstrated communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills. Spanish language ability desired. Must be able to work outside in year-round weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and snow. Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 75 pounds.
