Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Rotomilling Equipment Operator / Laborer to join our roadway construction team. This position is responsible for operating rotomilling and support equipment on asphalt milling and roadway rehabilitation projects while assisting with general labor duties. The ideal candidate will have roadway construction experience, strong safety awareness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment. Duties Operate rotomilling machines and support equipment safely and efficiently Operate equipment including skid steers, loaders, water trucks, sweepers, and dump trucks Assist with asphalt milling, roadway preparation, cleanup, and material handling Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs Assist with traffic control setup, signage, cones, and barriers Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and project requirements Perform general labor tasks and assist crew members as needed Experience Experience operating heavy equipment in roadway, asphalt, or milling construction preferred Knowledge of asphalt milling operations and construction site safety practices Mechanical knowledge and equipment maintenance experience is a plus Valid driver's license required Familiarity with CAT, Wirtgen, Roadtec, or similar equipment is beneficial Ability to work outdoors, extended hours, and travel as needed
