Construction Laborer

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Asphalt Paving & Maintenance Laborer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will assist in a variety of tasks related to asphalt paving, maintenance, and specialty concrete projects. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn, possess a strong work ethic, and have a passion for construction. Duties

• Assist in asphalt paving operations, including site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation.
• Support maintenance activities, such as patching, resurfacing, and repair of asphalt surfaces.
• Help with specialty concrete work, including forming, pouring, and finishing concrete as required on projects.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are securely stored.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to quality standards.
• Follow directives from supervisors and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
• Adhere to safety guidelines consistently to promote a safe workplace. Qualifications
• Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
• Basic knowledge of asphalt and concrete work is a plus.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools commonly used in construction.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality results.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
