In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting excavation and heavy equipment operations across various construction sites. Your energetic approach and attention to safety will help ensure projects progress smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in heavy machinery operation while contributing to large-scale infrastructure projects. Duties Assist with the setup and breakdown of excavation sites, ensuring all safety protocols are followed. Operate a variety of heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, backhoes, dozers, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, and water trucks to perform excavation tasks. Support the movement and placement of materials using machinery such as Caterpillar equipment and horizontal drilling tools. Perform routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs promptly. Collaborate with team members to execute site preparation, grading, paving, and other construction activities efficiently. Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and others. Assist with site cleanup and organization to keep the work area safe and productive. Skills Mechanical knowledge of heavy construction equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, and horizontal drilling machinery. Experience operating construction machinery such as Caterpillar equipment and other heavy-duty vehicles. Strong understanding of construction site safety practices and procedures. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments for extended periods. Knowledge of construction processes including paving, grading, excavation, and site preparation. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred for operating or assisting with truck movements such as dump trucks or tanker vehicles.
