Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic construction and renovation team as a Crew Leader / Skilled Laborer, where your expertise will drive successful project outcomes and elevate craftsmanship. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead on-site teams, execute diverse construction tasks, and contribute to transformative building projects. All positions are paid, recognizing the vital contribution of every team member. Duties Lead and supervise construction crews, ensuring safety protocols and project timelines are met efficiently. Perform a wide range of skilled tasks including framing, drywall installation, roofing, masonry, flooring, tile laying, and finish carpentry such as door hanging and trim work. Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and fabrication machinery safely and effectively. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute project specifications. Conduct construction inspections to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout each phase of the project. Assist with construction management activities such as estimating material needs, coordinating subcontractors, and tracking project progress using tools like Bluebeam. Execute specialized tasks including concrete forming and finishing, stucco application, plastering, caulking, glass installation, cabinet mounting, and restoration work. Qualifications Proven experience in construction site roles with a strong understanding of safety procedures and site protocols. Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with precision. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and fabrication techniques. Knowledge of various trades including plumbing, electrical systems, masonry, roofing, carpentry (frame and trim), drywall finishing, tile laying, and concrete work. Familiarity with construction management software such as Bluebeam is a plus. Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide teams effectively while maintaining high standards of quality.
