Post Frame Construction Laborer

Job Summary Our company is looking to add to our post frame building crews in the Augusta County area. A post frame construction carpenter will perform a wide range of physical labor tasks necessary in constructing high quality post frame buildings and structures. Because we maintain relatively small crews, the ideal candidate will need the ability to communicate well with other team members, think outside of the box, and come to work daily with a positive and energetic attitude. Duties/Responsibilites Use a variety of hand and power tools as necessary. Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment. Read and interpret blueprints. Maintain regular attendance. Receive and carryout instructions. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities Work well as part of a team. Ability to work at various heights on scaffolding, ladders, and motorized lift equipment. Basic carpentry skills including basic math and use of measuring tools. Strong attention to detail. Ability to think critically and problem solve. Ability to arrive in a timely manner to meet your crew at a pre-approved and designated location.
