Job Description

Skilled Laborer/Tradesman:
Performs specialized, physically demanding construction and maintenance tasks requiring technical proficiency with tools and equipment. Responsibilities include assisting tradesmen, operating machinery, preparing sites, completing project specific scopes of work, and ensuring safety compliance to build or repair structures. Working in varied, often outdoor conditions with minimal supervision is a must. Key Responsibilities -
Technical Assistance:
Assisting all skilled tradespeople with tasks. Competent in a multitude of different types of construction related work.
Tool & Equipment Operation:
Using hand tools, power tools, vehicles, and light-to-heavy machinery efficiently.
Safety Compliance:
Adhering to OSHA and all company safety standards, including but not limited to using personal protective equipment (PPE), and handling potentially hazardous materials.
Material Handling:
Experience in loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials and tools. Required Qualifications -
Experience:
10+ years of proven experience as a construction tradesman in multiple scopes/trades.
Skills:
Proficiency with power tools, machinery, and safety protocols.
Physical Strength:
Ability to lift heavy materials, climb, stand, bend, and work in varied weather conditions.
Certifications:
High school diploma, or equivalent; OSHA 10 or specialized equipment certifications are highly preferred.
License:
Valid driver's license. Key Competencies -
Technical Proficiency:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, specifications, and technical drawings to ensure accurate work.
Adaptability:
Capability to switch between different tasks and trades as project needs change.
Independence:
Self-managed, able to work with minimal supervision and stay on task. Ability to work within time constraints of the project schedule.
