About Summerset Marine Construction Summerset Marine Construction has been providing a full range of lakefront services to its customers in Southeastern Wisconsin since 1990. As the largest pier and lift dealer in Wisconsin, Summerset has grown over the years along with its customers' needs, able to provide the expertise and products necessary for the perfect waterfront solution. Servicing hundreds of clients from Madison to Milwaukee, Summerset Marine provides the highest level of expertise to design, install and support any pier and boat lift system, always on call for any service needs. About the role Summerset Marine Construction, a leader in lakefront services across Wisconsin, is seeking a full-time Field Laborer to join our team. With locations in Whitewater, Madison, Green Lake, and Door County, we've been providing top-quality pier and lift services since 1990. As the largest pier and lift dealer in the Midwest, we pride ourselves on our expertise and commitment to our customers. What you'll do Perform general construction labor tasks including site preparation, material handling, and cleanup. Assist with the installation and removal of piers, boat lifts, and related waterfront structures. May load, unload, and distribute construction materials using heavy machinery and manual labor. Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on tools and equipment. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. Work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Assist in the setup and breakdown of job sites. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous labor experience preferred. Power tool experience. Ability to operate or willingness to learn heavy machinery (excavators, loaders, etc.) is a plus. Physically demanding role - must be able to lift up to 100lbs and work in all weather conditions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic. Must be able to swim. Captain's License preferred. Drivers License Required. Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.

May be required to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch or crawl. Vision abilities require close vision assessments. Moderately loud noise levels in the work environment. Ability to perform labor-intensive tasks repeatedly and stand for long periods. Steel toe boots are required.

Travel to jobsites is required.
