Paid time off, advancement opportunities, performance incentives Position Overview We are looking for a skilled Lead Remodeler/Lead Construction Worker to work closely with the owner and manage residential and commercial remodeling projects from start to finish. This role is hands-on and leadership-focused, ideal for someone who takes pride in high-quality work. This person needs to work independently or lead 1-2 part-time employees while delivering a great experience for homeowners and business owners. Projects include kitchens, bathrooms, basements, interior renovations, painting, drywall, and finish carpentry. Responsibilities Lead and manage daily job site operations on residential remodels Perform and oversee: Drywall installation, taping, mudding, and sanding Interior & Exterior painting (prep, spray, roll, and finish work) Shop work (pre-finishing materials and custom cabinetry building) Finish carpentry (trim, doors, baseboard, casing) Light framing and remodeling tasks Read and execute project plans, layouts, and scopes of work Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers as needed Ensure projects stay on schedule and meet quality standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site Communicate professionally with homeowners and business owners Document job progress and job close-out forms Train and mentor crew members Qualifications 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in residential remodeling Strong skills in drywall, painting, and finish carpentry Proven ability to lead a small crew or run projects independently High attention to detail and pride in finished product Ability to problem-solve and adapt to the job Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying conditions Majority of work is in Fond Du Lac County; occasional travel (30-50 miles) outside of Fond Du Lac can occur.
