Job Title:
General Laborer Job Description We are seeking dedicated technicians to join our team in Madison, WI. You will play a vital role in assisting with the construction and renovation of ground-level office trailers. This position involves a variety of repair and maintenance tasks to ensure the trailers are fully operational and safe. Responsibilities Assist in framing and repairing damage to the exterior of trailers. Perform plumbing repairs to ensure full operational functionality. Conduct electrical repairs, including switch replacements and outlet maintenance. Undertake light HVAC repairs, with complex issues contracted out. Carry out interior and exterior painting. Repair or replace flooring as necessary. Maintain safety standards at all times. Essential Skills Experience in construction, carpentry, and framing. Proficiency with power tools and rough carpentry. Knowledge of painting, drywall, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Ability to use hand and power tools effectively. Work Environment You will be working outdoors and in shop areas that are not always climate-controlled. Join a small, close-knit team in Madison, consisting of 10-15 people, including full-time yard and driver staff, alongside office personnel. Dress code includes work pants and weather-appropriate attire from 7am to 4pm. Overtime is available based on workload. Necessary tools and personal protective equipment such as steel toe boots, high visibility clothing, safety glasses, and gloves are provided by the client. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Madison, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
