Venue General Helper / Event Laborer Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and dependable General Helper to join our team at Rustic Memories Events Venue. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and being part of creating unforgettable events. As a key team member, you'll assist with event setup, property maintenance, and general labor tasks to keep the venue running smoothly. This is a paid position with opportunities to learn a wide range of skills in event operations, maintenance, and light construction. Duties Assist with event setup and teardown (tables, chairs, décor, lighting, etc.) Help maintain the property including grounds, buildings, and outdoor spaces Support small construction and improvement projects (painting, staining, repairs, basic carpentry) Operate hand tools and basic power tools safely Assist with cleaning, organizing, and preparing spaces before and after events Help with bar setup, stocking, and general event support when needed Move and organize materials, furniture, and equipment Assist with landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, and general upkeep Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized work environment Jump in wherever needed—this is a team-first role Experience Prior labor, maintenance, or construction experience is helpful but not required Comfortable using basic tools or willing to learn Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude are a must Ability to lift, carry, and stay active throughout the day Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends (especially during wedding season) Experience with landscaping, maintenance, or event setup is a plus Why Join Us?
