Construction Laborer

Laborer Job Description Join a dynamic team involved in the production of concrete piping used beneath streets and manholes. This role requires individuals who are skilled in reading tape measures and have basic blueprint comprehension. Experience in concrete or construction is highly valued, and you will be engaged in tasks that include lifting up to 50 pounds and assembling rebar within molds. Your attention to detail and comfort with using hand and power tools will be essential as each project varies, requiring you to interpret build-outs from prints and finish concrete surfaces with hand sanders. Responsibilities Read and interpret tape measures and basic blueprints. Lift and maneuver items weighing up to 50 pounds. Assemble rebar to fit inside molds for concrete piping. Utilize hand and power tools for assembly and finishing tasks. Move and drag finished parts to designated finishing areas. Finish concrete surfaces with hand sanders once they are fully dried. Essential Skills Ability to read tape measures and understand basic blueprints. Concrete or construction experience is beneficial. Comfortable using hand and power tools. Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination. Additional Skills & Qualifications 6 months to a year of experience in manufacturing, concrete, or construction. Reliability and strong attendance record. Willingness to learn and assist around the facility. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is based in a dusty and dirty environment, which is not climate-controlled and is typically 10 degrees warmer than the outside temperature.
