Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer and become a vital part of building excellence! As a Construction Laborer, you'll be at the forefront of creating safe, durable, and high-quality structures while gaining valuable experience across various trades. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials using hand tools and power tools. Perform heavy lifting tasks safely to move materials such as rebar, concrete forms, or masonry units. Operate heavy equipment and machinery like concrete mixers, concrete pumps, or forklifts to support project needs. Install rebar, metal stud framing, or perform basic masonry tasks such as laying bricks or blocks for walls and structures. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to understand project specifications and assist with framing, roofing, or stucco applications. Conduct finishing tasks including concrete finishing, tile laying, flooring installation, or plastering to achieve smooth surfaces. Support demolition, renovation, or restoration projects by preparing surfaces and applying caulking or trim carpentry techniques. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools effectively. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately for precise execution of tasks. Experience with concrete forming, pouring, finishing, and concrete pumping processes. Knowledge of masonry techniques such as rebar installation and stucco application. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation including forklifts or other machinery relevant to construction sites. Skilled in carpentry disciplines like frame carpentry, trim carpentry, or metal stud framing for various structural needs.
