Construction Laborer

Job Summary Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer, where your energy and dedication will help bring building projects to life! In this vital role, you'll support skilled tradespeople by performing a variety of physically demanding tasks on construction sites. Whether assisting with concrete work, framing, or site cleanup, you'll be an essential part of transforming blueprints into reality. Duties Assist with the installation of rebar, formwork, and concrete finishing to ensure structural integrity and quality standards are met Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks Support heavy equipment operation and site preparation activities including heavy lifting and material handling Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to understand project requirements and assist tradespeople accordingly Perform demolition, renovation, restoration, or new construction tasks such as framing, drywall installation, stucco application, and roofing Prepare sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and ensuring safety protocols are followed Help with masonry work including tile laying, concrete pumping, and metal stud framing to achieve precise finishes Support specialized tasks such as plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, flooring installation, or masonry work as needed Operate commercial vehicles for material transport and site logistics in compliance with safety standards Skills Mechanical knowledge to operate tools and equipment confidently Construction estimating experience is a plus for understanding project scope and materials needs Proficiency in rebar installation, concrete forming, finishing techniques, and stucco application Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics for accurate task execution Experience with heavy equipment operation including forklifts or cranes is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina throughout shifts Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and OSHA regulations Strong teamwork skills combined with effective communication on-site tasks Basic carpentry skills such as trim carpentry or framing enhance versatility on the job Embark on a rewarding career journey where your hands-on skills make a tangible impact!
