Job Description
Job Summary The Native Village of Atka is a federally recognized Tribe that creates and implements infrastructure projects in Atka Alaska, a remote community of 60 people located 1200 miles west of Anchorage Alaska. A Program Manager is needed for the planning and implementation of various horizontal and vertical construction projects in Atka. Your expertise will drive project success, foster collaboration among stakeholders, and uphold the highest standards of quality. Projects include • Road construction and bridge repair; Housing and community facilities construction Duties Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation. Monitor project progress through detailed scheduling, tracking milestones, and adjusting plans proactively to meet deadlines. Manage procurement processes in accordance with Tribal policies and procedures. including construction estimating, bidding, and contract negotiations. Facilitate effective communication among all project stakeholders to resolve issues swiftly and keep projects on track. Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, address challenges promptly, and ensure adherence to safety regulations. Prepare detailed reports on project status, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement. Skills Proven ability in project scheduling and coordination across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment. Deep understanding of remote construction operations combined with excellent time management skills. Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with the Native people of Atka and their Tribal government.
Pay:
$90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per yearBenefits:
