Job Description
Superintendent - Infrastructure Juneau, AK Join a well-established general contractor in the Pacific Northwest seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead on-site operations for large-scale civil and infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for overseeing daily field operations, coordinating subcontractors and trades, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will serve as the on-site leader, driving productivity, maintaining safety compliance, and ensuring alignment with plans and specifications. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented leader with strong organizational skills and proven experience managing complex commercial projects.
Superintendent Responsibilities:
Oversee and direct all on-site construction activities. Read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documents. Supervise field crews, subcontractors, and material deliveries. Monitor schedules and address production challenges. Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements. Conduct safety meetings and maintain accurate project documentation. Manage project schedules, including punch list completion. Collaborate with project managers and internal teams to meet project goals.Superintendent Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in civil construction with a general contractor. Experience managing projects valued at $20+ million. Associate degree in Construction Management or related field preferred (or equivalent experience). Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to travel monthly. Bilingual a plus.Company Benefits:
