Permits Coordinator - Daphne, AL DSLD Homes - 4.0 Daphne, AL Job Details Full-time 3 days ago Benefits Paid holidays Disability insurance Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance 401(k) matching Life insurance Qualifications Residential construction High school diploma or GED Task prioritization Productivity software Stakeholder relationship building Full Job Description Permits Coordinator (Full Time) - Daphne, AL Apply for, track and maintain all permits required for new community start-ups, as well as the building permits on all houses under signed contract.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Request and track all plot plans, engineered plans and other required items per municipality requirements. Request and track permit applications on a daily basis . Communicate effectively with local city governments, permit runners and inter-office departments to ensure timely receipt of permits. Establish and maintain good builder relations with all permitting offices. Distribute new municipality and utilities information regarding fee increases or changes in procedures to the Production Admin. Manager. Interpret permitting issues that arise, and implement actions in a timely manner Manage all slab and permit start emails to alert all key personnel of any issues that arise (swing changes, etc.) Perform other duties as assigned by Production Mangers.
JOB REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
Minimum 2 years' experience in a residential construction environment, preferably in the permits department. High School diploma or equivalent required. Must be a self-starter and detail oriented. Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work in a team environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
