We are currently seeking a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Superintendent to support field operations and construction activities for our project in Bay Minette, AL. This is an opportunity for a detail-oriented, results-driven professional to deliver exceptional construction projects while building strong relationships with subcontractors, clients, and regulatory authorities. Key Responsibilities Assist the Superintendent in coordinating all construction activities on assigned projects Support the supervision of crews and subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality work Monitor daily site operations and maintain project documentation, including logs, reports, and safety records Help enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies, fostering a culture of safety on-site Track project progress, assist with scheduling updates, and communicate field conditions to the project team Support client, inspector, and building official interactions to ensure smooth communication and compliance Assist with implementing cost-effective strategies and problem-solving field challenges Coordinate material deliveries, equipment needs, and site logistics Collaborate with Project Management and Estimating teams to align field operations with project plans Uphold Persons Services' Core Values and represent the company with professionalism Ideal Candidate Profile 2+ years of experience in commercial construction field operations (internship or co-op experience considered) Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients Associate or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Building Construction/Science, or related field (preferred) Highly organized and detail-oriented with a proactive, "hands-on" approach to problem solving Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with construction management software Experience using smartphones and tablets in conjunction with field management software Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and trade practices Eager to learn, grow, and develop into a future Superintendent role Someone who embodies our Core Values and sets the standard for excellence What We Offer Career development with a clear path toward Superintendent and leadership roles.
