Job Description

A well-established heavy civil contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead bridge, heavy highway, and lock & dam construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on field leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing crews, driving project schedules, and delivering high-quality work safely and efficiently. Lead and supervise field crews ranging from 5-20 personnel Coordinate daily construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within quality standards Develop and execute work plans through effective planning, communication, and teamwork Ensure compliance with OSHA, FRA, DOT, and other applicable regulations Manage project schedules, manpower, equipment, and production goals Collaborate with project management, subcontractors, and clients to maintain project success Promote a strong safety culture and maintain high-quality standards on all projects What We're Looking For 10+ years of construction experience Background in bridge construction, heavy highway, or USACE lock & dam projects Proven ability to lead crews and manage field operations Strong planning, scheduling, and communication skills Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary 20-30% Short-Term Incentive Plan Comprehensive Health Benefits 401(k) with 6% Company Match Per Diem Provided When Applicable Generous PTO Package Stable backlog of work and long-term career growth opportunities For more information and to be considered for this position, please send resume's to phoebe.johnson@gogpac.com or call 605-705-3365.
