Senior Construction Manager 475 E Robins St, Conway, AR 72032 From $85,000 a year - Full-time From $85,000 a year - Full-time Construction & Maintenance Manager About Patriot Communities Patriot Communities is a rapidly growing property management company specializing in manufactured housing communities and multifamily properties throughout Arkansas. We are committed to improving our communities through quality renovations, strong maintenance operations, and exceptional resident service. We are seeking a Construction & Maintenance Manager to lead our renovation team and oversee maintenance operations across our portfolio. This position will be based in Conway, Arkansas and will require regular travel to communities throughout the state. Position Summary The Construction & Maintenance Manager will be responsible for managing home renovation projects, directing maintenance personnel, coordinating vendors and contractors, and ensuring service requests are completed efficiently and professionally. This role requires a strong leader who can manage people, prioritize projects, hold teams accountable, and maintain high standards for quality and performance. ResponsibilitiesConstruction & Renovation Management Oversee manufactured home renovations, turns, rehabs, and capital improvement projects. Develop scopes of work, project budgets, and timelines. Coordinate materials, vendors, contractors, and maintenance staff. Conduct quality control inspections and final walk-throughs. Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Maintenance Operations Manage maintenance requests across multiple communities. Prioritize and assign work orders to maintenance technicians and vendors. Track completion times and ensure high-quality workmanship. Develop systems and processes to improve maintenance efficiency. Respond to emergency maintenance situations when necessary. Team Leadership Lead and supervise maintenance technicians and contractors. Recruit, train, and develop field personnel. Establish performance expectations and accountability measures. Conduct regular team meetings and property inspections. Foster a culture of professionalism, urgency, and ownership. Vendor & Budget Management Solicit bids and negotiate pricing with contractors and vendors. Monitor project budgets and approve expenditures. Track inventory, supplies, and equipment. Ensure cost-effective execution of projects while maintaining quality standards. QualificationsRequired 5+ years of experience in construction, maintenance, property management, or a related field. Proven experience leading teams and managing contractors. Strong understanding of residential construction, renovations, and maintenance operations. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Arkansas. Preferred Experience with manufactured housing communities. Property management or multifamily maintenance experience. Experience using maintenance management or work order software. General contractor, superintendent, or maintenance supervisor background.
