Project Manager - Sitework / Civil Construction A growing civil construction contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee site development and horizontal construction projects for residential communities and municipal work. The ideal candidate is a strong Project Manager with experience in excavation, grading, and underground utilities who can manage projects from preconstruction through completion while maintaining schedules, budgets, and strong field coordination. Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of sitework and civil construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Oversee excavation, grading, storm drainage, water, sewer, and underground utility scopes
• Coordinate with Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and municipalities
• Maintain project schedules, budgets, and overall financial performance
• Review plans, specifications, contracts, and change orders
• Ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget
• Identify and resolve project risks and field issues proactively
• Communicate project updates with leadership, clients, and stakeholders Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in civil construction or site development
• Strong background in excavation, grading, and wet/dry utilities
• Experience managing residential development, land development, or municipal sitework projects
• Ability to read and interpret civil plans and specifications
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control
• Stable work history with reputable contractors (no frequent job hopping)
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Compensation and Benefits Salary Range:

Up to $120,000+ per year (based on experience)
