Job Description

Construction Office Manager Norris Construction and Services •
River Valley & Northwest Arkansas Full-Time On-Site Pay:
Based on Experience Multifamily Construction
ABOUT THE ROLE
Norris Construction and Services is a growing construction firm with active projects across the River Valley and Northwest Arkansas regions. We are looking for a seasoned Construction Office Manager to be the operational backbone of our office — someone who understands the pace of construction, can manage the flow of plans and documentation, and brings real estimating experience to the table. This is not a purely administrative role; we need someone who can sit down, read a set of plans, accurately bid concrete work, and produce contracts that hold up in the field.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Manage day-to-day office operations and keep project workflows organized and on track Print, organize, and distribute construction plans to field teams and subcontractors Maintain and manage digital file systems — project documents, permits, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and correspondence Accurately bid concrete scopes of work — including materials, labor, equipment, and site conditions Draft, review, and execute subcontractor and vendor contracts with attention to scope, schedule, and terms Track project budgets, change orders, and contract commitments Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, subs, and owners to keep documentation current Assist with scheduling, procurement tracking, and owner communications as needed Maintain compliance documentation, lien waivers, insurance certificates, and close-out packages
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
6+ years of experience in a construction office role, with a strong background in multifamily construction Proven ability to read and interpret full construction plan sets Hands-on experience bidding concrete work — you know how to take off quantities, price labor and materials, and produce a competitive, accurate bid Experience writing and managing construction contracts for subcontractors and vendors Strong command of digital file management and document control systems Proficient with construction management software (Procore, Buildertrend, or similar) Skilled with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace or similar software Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent written and verbal communication skills — comfortable dealing with owners, subs, and field crews Self-starter who can operate with minimal supervision
PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED
Familiarity with Arkansas permitting and licensing requirements Background in estimating beyond concrete (framing, site work, or MEP) is a plus
COMPENSATION & LOCATION
Pay based on experience — we reward the right candidate appropriately Position will cover the River Valley and Northwest Arkansas Full-time, on-site role
Pay:
From $45,000.00 per year
Benefits:
Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Application Question(s): Do you have experience bidding concrete work, including material takeoffs and labor pricing? If so, please explain. Have you written construction contracts or subcontractor agreements? Have you managed office operations for a construction company with multiple simultaneous projects? If so, how many projects were typically active at once?
Experience:
Construction office management: 6 years (Preferred) Willingness to travel: 50% (Preferred)
Work Location:
In person
