Job Description

Position Summary Flag Landscaping is seeking an experienced and motivated Landscape Design & Construction Manager to oversee landscape construction projects from initial client consultation through project completion. This role combines design, estimating, project management, crew leadership, and field operations. The ideal candidate is organized, hands-on, customer-focused, and capable of managing multiple projects while maintaining high-quality workmanship effeciency. Key Responsibilities Design & Sales Meet with clients to understand project goals, budgets, and site conditions Develop landscape design concepts and construction plans Recommend materials, plant selections, irrigation solutions, lighting, hardscape features, and layout improvements Prepare project estimates, proposals, and bids Present proposals and close sales opportunities Coordinate revisions and change orders as needed Project Management Plan and schedule landscape construction projects Coordinate labor, subcontractors, equipment, and material deliveries Manage project timelines and budgets Ensure projects are completed according to specifications and company quality standards Conduct site visits and maintain communication with clients throughout the project Resolve field issues and adjust schedules as necessary Crew Leadership Lead and supervise installation crews and foremen Assign daily tasks and monitor productivity Train team members on proper installation techniques and safety procedures Maintain a positive, professional work environment Ensure all work is performed safely and efficiently Construction & Installation Oversight Oversee installation of: Hardscape features (pavers, retaining walls, patios, walkways) Irrigation systems Landscape lighting Planting and grading Drainage systems Outdoor living features Inspect completed work for quality and compliance Administrative Duties Track project costs and job profitability Maintain accurate project documentation Assist with purchasing and inventory coordination Support business growth through client relationships and referrals Qualifications 3+ years of experience in landscape construction, project management, or related field Strong knowledge of landscape design, hardscape installation, irrigation, and construction practices Experience preparing bids and estimates Ability to read plans, blueprints, and site layouts Strong leadership and communication skills Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to operate construction equipment is a plus Proficiency with landscape design or estimating software preferred
