Superintendent

Superintendent - Concrete Austin Concrete is currently recruiting for a Superintendent to be part of our dynamic, growth-oriented organization. We are one of the fastest growing companies in the Phoenix area that works with all the major home builders. The purpose of this position is to supervise the Concrete field operations team and insure compliance with plans, specs and safety requirements. The Superintendent is responsible for achieving maximum production in the most efficient manner.

Job Description:

Establish and develop professional relationships with field personnel Develop a thorough understanding of field operations Develop, refine, and update project schedules as needed Communicate schedule updates to all field employees, subcontractors and vendors Enforce safety protocols to ensure job site consistently meets or exceeds OSHA safety standards Review daily progress of all job sites and provide updates as needed to the operations team Maintain appropriate documentation throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

Knowledge of concrete planning, layout, form setting, and finishing. Minimum 3+ years' experience as Concrete Superintendent High school diploma required (college degree preferred) Analytical skills, problem solving abilities and be effective at building collaborative relationships Ability to engage professionally with clients, subcontracts and skilled trades Proficient skills with Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software
