Full-Time About Us Skinner and Son LLC is a growing general contracting company focused on residential remodels and commercial tenant improvements. As we continue to expand into larger, more complex projects, we are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Working Project Superintendent who can lead from the front and take pride in hands-on work. Position Overview This is a working superintendent role , meaning you will be actively involved in the field while also helping oversee job site progress, quality, and organization. The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail, takes ownership of their work, and understands what it takes to keep a project moving efficiently. Key Responsibilities Perform and assist with job site work as needed Oversee day-to-day job site operations and ensure projects stay on schedule Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environments Communicate effectively with project managers and office staff Ensure quality control and adherence to company standards Required Experience & Skills Experience with minor kitchen and bathroom demolition Flooring demolition experience a plus Knowledge and implementation of dust containment practices Basic plumbing knowledge (fixture removal/install, minor adjustments) Basic electrical knowledge (disconnects, minor fixture work) Experience with appliance installation , including: Range hoods, Refrigerators, Microwaves, Cooktops, Etc Strong attention to detail and job site awareness Ability to problem-solve and work independently Preferred (Not Required) Water mitigation experience (a plus, but not required) What We're Looking For Reliable, punctual, and professional Takes pride in workmanship and job quality Strong work ethic with a "whatever it takes" mindset Ability to adapt as the company grows into larger projects Team player with leadership potential Compensation Competitive pay based on experience Company vehicle with basic tools Opportunities for growth within the company Consistent, long-term work with a growing contractor How to Apply Please submit your resume and a brief summary of your experience.
