We are currently seeking an experienced Underground Utilities Foreman to lead field crews performing water, sewer, and storm drain installation throughout the Greater Phoenix area. This position is responsible for planning daily work activities, coordinating manpower and equipment, maintaining production goals, and ensuring work is performed safely and according to project specifications. We are currently seeking an experienced Foreman - Underground Utilities to lead field crews and support the successful completion of heavy civil construction projects throughout the Salt Lake City area and surrounding markets. Key Responsibilities Crew Leadership & Field Operations Lead and supervise underground utility crews in daily field operations Coordinate work activities with Superintendents, Project Managers, subcontractors, and vendors Maintain production schedules while ensuring quality and safety standards are met Train and mentor field employees while promoting a strong team culture Underground Utility Installation Oversee installation of wet utility systems including water, sewer, and storm drain Plan pipe installation sequencing with project leadership Ensure proper trenching, excavation, pipe placement, bedding, and backfill operations Verify line and grade using lasers, transits, levels, and other field instruments Equipment & Site Coordination Operate heavy equipment as needed, including excavators, loaders, bulldozers, and backhoes Coordinate equipment, materials, and manpower to maintain project efficiency Ensure crews are working from current plans and specifications Safety & Quality Control Enforce company safety policies and OSHA compliance standards Conduct daily safety meetings and maintain a safe jobsite environment Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with project specifications and schedules Monitor traffic control and site safety near active roadways and public areas 3+ years of experience as a Foreman in heavy civil construction Strong underground wet utility experience (water, sewer, storm drain, etc.) OSHA 30 Certification Valid driver's license with clean and insurable driving record Experience reading civil plans and construction drawings Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work in fast-paced field environments Benefits Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Medical, Dental, Vision, and Voluntary Benefits 401(k) with Company Match Paid Time Off & Sick Time Weekly Pay Career Growth Opportunities Equal Opportunity Employer Kinkaid Civil Construction is an Equal Opportunity Employer and participates in E-Verify.
