Residential Remodeling Project Superintendent Luxury Kitchen, Bath & Whole-Home Remodeling Premier Design Build Remodel is an established high-end residential design-build remodeling firm serving Scottsdale, the East Valley, and the Phoenix metro area since 1994. We specialize in luxury kitchen remodeling, bathroom remodeling, whole-home remodeling, room additions, and custom residential renovation projects. Our team operates from professional showroom locations in Mesa and Scottsdale and is built around craftsmanship, communication, organization, and accountability. We are currently seeking an experienced Residential Remodeling Project Superintendent to join our production team. This is a field-based leadership role for someone who knows how to execute complex residential remodeling projects, drive progress, coordinate people, solve problems, and keep high-end projects moving with professionalism and control. About the Role This position is responsible for driving the field execution of residential remodeling projects. The right candidate understands how a well-orchestrated project should run. You know how to work with lead carpenters, trade partners, vendors, designers, production leadership, and homeowners to keep the job moving forward. You are not expected to be the primary hands-on carpenter, but you must have the field experience and construction knowledge to recognize quality work, anticipate issues, solve problems, and maintain momentum. This is not a desk-only project management role. It is also not a clipboard-only superintendent role. Approximately 70% of this role is field-based and 30% is administrative. Field work includes jobsite visits, project coordination, client communication, product delivery, material movement, logistics, schedule verification, trade coordination, quality control, and active problem-solving. Administrative responsibilities will include project documentation, scheduling support, communication through JobTread, change order coordination, and budget/job-cost awareness. Over time, this role will grow into greater responsibility for budget tracking, invoice review, labor efficiency, change order management, and protecting project profitability. Key Responsibilities Drive day-to-day project progress across active residential remodeling projects Coordinate lead carpenters, internal team members, subcontractors, vendors, and trade partners Maintain organized, clean, safe, and professional jobsites Ensure work is being performed according to plans, scopes, selections, specifications, and Premier quality standards Communicate professionally with homeowners, while learning and following Premier's client communication standards Identify project issues early and help create practical solutions that keep work moving Support schedule execution and help remove roadblocks before they affect timelines Assist with product delivery, logistics, material handling, and jobsite readiness Review field conditions, verify completed work, and support quality control Document project activity, updates, and issues through JobTread Coordinate with the Production Manager and internal team on priorities, scheduling, and resource needs Support change order communication and documentation Develop into greater responsibility for job costing, invoice review, labor efficiency, and project financial performance Required Experience & Qualifications 10+ years of residential remodeling or custom residential construction experience 5+ years in a field leadership, superintendent, project management, or business-owner role Strong understanding of kitchen remodeling, bathroom remodeling, whole-home remodeling, and residential renovation sequencing Ability to manage multiple moving parts without losing control of the job Strong communication skills with homeowners, trade partners, vendors, and internal team members Ability to read plans, scopes, specifications, selections, and installation documents Strong knowledge of jobsite logistics, scheduling, quality control, and trade coordination Comfortable using project management software such as JobTread or similar platforms Valid driver's license and clean driving record Comfortable operating company trucks and trailers as part of normal field/logistics responsibilities Professional appearance, strong work ethic, and high personal accountability Ideal Candidate Profile This role may be a strong fit for someone who has: Owned or operated a small remodeling business Worked in multiple roles within residential remodeling Managed projects from the field, not just from an office Strong strengths in communication, coordination, and getting projects completed A solid understanding of budgets and project profitability Experience executing well-designed projects with skilled team members already in place The humility to learn Premier's systems, standards, and client communication process We can train the right person on our software, internal process, and financial systems. We cannot train someone from scratch on residential remodeling judgment, field leadership, jobsite control, or high-end client expectations. What We Are NOT Looking For To respect everyone's time, this role is not designed for: Entry-level project managers Commercial superintendents with no residential remodeling experience Production homebuilding managers without custom remodeling experience Office-only project managers Clipboard supervisors who do not actively drive field execution Handyman-only backgrounds Subcontractors looking for side work Candidates unwilling to participate in logistics, deliveries, and field problem-solving Candidates uncomfortable with technology, documentation, or accountability We are looking for someone who has done this before and can add value quickly.
