About the
Role:
We are looking for an Associate Project Manager who can support and help drive commercial real estate and construction projects from early planning through closeout. This role is ideal for someone with strong project experience who can operate independently on key workstreams while collaborating closely with senior project managers, clients, and internal teams.Why This Role Matters:
This role sits at the intersection of client advocacy, construction execution, and real estate decision-making. The Associate Project Manager plays a critical role in keeping projects moving, risks visible, and stakeholders aligned , while contributing to the high-touch execution Keyser is known for.What You'll Do:
Support and help drive commercial projects from kickoff through design, bidding, construction, occupancy, and closeout. Build and manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, and reporting , in coordination with senior team members. Coordinate clients, internal brokerage and transaction teams, architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, and landlords to maintain alignment across project stakeholders. Review proposals, bids, schedules, contracts, and change orders, and help surface risks, gaps, and decision points. Track project milestones, budget variances, and critical dates, and communicate clear updates and action items. Support site selection, due diligence, test fits, and tenant improvement planning where projects intersect with occupancy strategy. Own key portions of project execution , including vendor coordination, meeting cadence, and follow-ups, while escalating issues as needed. Manage multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and responsiveness. Contribute to client presentations, proposals, and relationship development efforts as needed.What We're Looking For:
3-5+ years of experience in project management, construction management, owner's representation, development, or related commercial real estate roles. Experience supporting or managing commercial projects with increasing responsibility across budgets, schedules, and vendors. Strong working knowledge of design and construction processes, contracts, and project controls . Ability to operate independently on workstreams while collaborating within a broader project team. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex project information into clear updates. High ownership mindset with strong organization and follow-through. Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, and project tracking tools. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally to meetings and job sites, with occasional out-of-state travel.Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, real estate, business, or a related field. Experience supporting or managing tenant improvement, office, industrial, healthcare, retail, education, or mixed-use commercial projects . Familiarity with project management tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, Procore, or similar platforms . Experience working alongside brokerage, transaction management, or occupier advisory teams in a commercial real estate environment. Exposure to client-facing project delivery , including participation in meetings, presentations, or reporting. Working knowledge of budgets, schedules, contracts, and change order processes . PMP or similar credential (or progress toward certification) is a plus. Demonstrated ability to manage portions of projects independently while contributing to a broader team effort. Interest in growing into a lead Project Manager role over time.Pay:
