Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure job equipment and tools are maintained in good working order and are safe for use;
  • Manage, supervise and coordinate onsite work crews;
  • Attend and facilitate coordination, production and safety meetings;
  • Tracking and recording daily production of the crews and reporting back to the superintendent/ Project manager;
  • Communicate with onsite subcontractors, general contractors and/or owners;
  • Participate in training and other forms of development to strengthen technical, safety and other skills;
  • Maintain a clean job site: ensure all tools and equipment are picked up and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards;
  • Build a project to provided prints, actually and to specs called out on prints;
  • Supervise installation and completion of work on time and budget;
  • Order and schedule equipment and material(s) deliveries as required;
  • Inputting daily log books, time sheets and other job related paperwork;
  • Operate construction equipment as required.
