If you are an experienced professional who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment, possesses excellent organizational and communication skills, and has a keen eye for detail, this opportunity is for you. Superintendent - Required Skills & Experience Americo Builders is seeking a seasoned Superintendent with a proven background in commercial construction, specifically in tenant improvement and ground-up projects for retail and restaurant spaces. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong leadership skills and the ability to manage fast-paced construction environments.

Key Qualifications:

Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent Direct experience with tenant improvement and ground-up commercial, retail, and restaurant projects Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical plans Strong background in managing subcontractors and maintaining project schedules Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and consistently meet tight deadlines Willingness to travel up to 25% (preferred)

Technical & Field Skills:

Skilled in: Reading construction plans Managing construction schedules Coordinating with subcontractors and inspectors General knowledge of: Framing, drywall, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, flooring, and storefront systems Wet and dry utilities and applicable code requirements Site and off-site construction best practices

Technology Proficiency:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and use of mobile devices Experience with Microsoft Project, Procore, and Bluebeam is a plus

Additional Requirements:

Must be willing to work nights and weekends as needed based on project demands Strong understanding of the importance of budgets, scheduling, and on-time project completions OSHA 30 Certification or equivalent required
