Job Description:
RETS Associates is partnering with a vertically integrated real estate owner-operator to identify a ???????????????????????? ????????????????????????????????????, ???????????????????????????????????????????? (???????????????? ????????????????????????????) to join their growing platform in Menlo Park, CA. The Senior Associate will sit at the intersection of development execution, project controls, and investment analysis, supporting the delivery of large-scale hyperscale data center developments across major U.S. markets. This individual will work directly with senior leadership and play a critical role in managing project budgets, schedules, and cross-functional coordination across internal teams and external partners. This is a high-exposure, execution-driven role designed as a pipeline to Development Manager / AVP for candidates with 3-5 years of experience in real estate development, construction, project finance, or infrastructure-related roles.
Responsibilities:
  • Track and manage development budgets and project schedules across multiple large-scale data center developments
  • Coordinate across architects, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), civil/environmental engineers, contractors, and internal development/finance teams
  • Monitor critical path items including power delivery, entitlements, and long-lead procurement
  • Support underwriting, investment memos, and capital coordination across equity and debt processes
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • 3-5 years of experience in real estate development, construction, project controls, or real estate project finance
  • Strong understanding of development economics, including hard/soft costs, capital structures, and project scheduling
  • Experience coordinating with contractors, engineers, consultants, or infrastructure stakeholders
  • Ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with multiple concurrent workstreams This is a highly visible role within one of the most active data center development platforms in the U.
S., offering direct exposure to hyperscale infrastructure projects and a long-term path into development leadership.
