Construction Site Supervisor RAMM Hospitality - 3.6 Bakersfield, CA Job Details Full-time $70,304 a year 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Employee discount Qualifications Bilingual Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel Multitasking OSHA Driver's License Construction Microsoft Outlook Calendar Full Job Description Job Overview Oversee the daily operations as the primary on-site manager on new construction sites, remodels, hotel properties, and developments to ensure projects are on schedule and completed safely, within budget, and according to quality standards. Coordinates subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, equipment, and supplies while maintaining compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company procedures. Serves as the on-site leader and point of contact between Project Manager, including Company President, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, public utilities, and businesses.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Maintain project schedules and productivity targets.
  • Respond promptly to Project Manager including Company President, queries, phone calls, text messages, emails, etc.
  • Oversee, perform, and conduct daily site visits to various projects, hotel properties, new construction / remodels, and various sites assigned for inspections, progress issues, and status.
  • Coordinate daily site inspections to verify workmanship, quality, compliance, and project schedule, status, and production.
  • Communicate as direct point of contact between businesses, subcontractors, vendors, public utilities, and equipment operators to ensure the seamless execution of projects.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the job site in accordance with safety standards.
  • Perform daily quality assurance quality control (QAQC) checks to ensure work meets project specifications.
  • Ensure all work is completed according to blueprints, engineering plans, and contract documents.
  • Support inventory management and ensure storage of materials and tools.
  • Resolve on-site operational issues quickly minimizing project delays.
  • Assist in ordering, tracking, delivery, and installation of furniture, designs, lighting, textiles, accessories, and décor selections to enhance and complete interior and exterior space.
  • Ensure all design elements meet quality standards and aesthetic goals.
  • Manages difficult situations, respond promptly to needs, requests, and conflict resolution.
  • Track materials, deliveries, and inventory at various new construction, hotel properties, and project sites.
  • Coordinate and communicate changes to project scope, schedule, cost, and status using appropriate verification techniques with Project Manager and Company President approval.
  • Report and escalate construction and project changes to Project Manager and Company President immediately.
  • Coordinate budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.
  • Generate project schedules and timelines.
  • Negotiate bids/contracts with general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and business partners
  • Estimate and ensure resources, supplies, material, and labor availability and allocation are delivered on time and within scope of budget.
  • Enter, access, and retrieve confidential information using computerized database.
  • Analyze risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Plan, facilitate, delegate, and assess process for work assignments to improve and promote project productivity, progress, and quality to ensure project timeline and completion.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project plans and documentation to be shared with Project Manager, Company President, developers, general contractors, subcontractors, and lenders.
  • Operate company vehicle when attending errands for company, owner, visiting various sites, and pick up / delivery of materials and supplies.
  • Develop spreadsheets, data, diagrams, and process maps to document needs and project status.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by Project Manager and Company President.
