This is a true ownership role. The Project Manager is fully responsible for managing projects from construction start through final completion. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, lead field crews and subcontractors, coordinate resources, manage schedules and, ensure quality standards are met, and deliver an outstanding customer experience throughout the project lifecycle. Performance Objectives Manage projects from construction kickoff through final completion and customer sign-off. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the construction process. Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service. Lead and coordinate field crews, foremen, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers. Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion. Ensure projects are completed according to plans, specifications, company standards, and customer expectations. Conduct regular jobsite inspections to verify workmanship, safety, productivity, and quality. Identify and resolve project challenges before they impact schedule, budget, or customer satisfaction. Coordinate subcontractor scheduling, performance, and accountability. Manage project budgets, labor utilization, materials, and production efficiency. Process change orders and communicate project modifications clearly with clients and internal teams. Ensure all work complies with company quality standards and safety requirements. Maintain accurate project documentation, progress reports, and job records. Collaborate closely with Sales, Design, Operations, and Executive Leadership to ensure successful project outcomes. Deliver projects on time, on budget, and to the total delight of the customer.

Education & Experience Minimum of 5 years of construction project management experience required. Experience managing landscape construction, hardscape installation, outdoor living, or residential construction projects preferred. Proven experience managing subcontractors and field crews. Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and customer relationships. Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and field operations. Requirements Ability to commute daily to the San Luis Obispo office and projects throughout the county. Valid California driver's license and acceptable driving record. Ability to walk jobsites and work outdoors as needed. Strong computer skills including project management software, email, and reporting tools.
