This role is key to maximizing the value of our operations and leading the safety culture. This role is a great opportunity for a self-motivated leader to learn and develop their career while focusing on safe operations and execution to improve the team's performance. Reporting to the Refinery Services Manager, you will be: Leading and developing a team of front-line supervisors and a crew of 40 craftspeople Identifying and acting on opportunities to increase value generation Interacting with our technical specialists to bring additional expertise to bear when required and to drive operational performance Building and maintaining an effective and safety-first culture. Strong Knowledge in electricity and instrumentation Experience with control systems (PLC, HMI, Drives, and SCADA systems) Ability to work towards continuous improvement and team performance Soft Skills Ability to articulate and translate the technical side to personnel at all levels Leadership, autonomy, flexibility, decisiveness, and communication The following assets will make you even more successful in the role: Knowledge of MSHA regulations About Rio Tinto Rio Tinto is a leading global mining and materials company.
