The superintendent oversees all the field work, plans ahead, coordinates the schedule with in-house laborers, subcontractors, and vendors, and ensures that quality work is being carried out at the field. Responsibilities Oversee and make thoughtful decisions on how to save cost and time when RFI comes up Oversee all the work of field engineers and field laborers Continuously monitor productivity of the field labors and ensure they are performing as required Review any measurements in the field Review schedules with the project manager and check if any delays will occur Review schedule with subcontractors Check the job site and perform layouts as required Maintain good relationship with inspectors Ensure the budget is being followed and schedule our own crew according to the work being done Track project progress on a weekly basis Qualifications 3+ years of field superintendent experience working on public or commercial civil or building construction Experience in managing more than one project simultaneously High degree of field leadership and communication skills
