Unlike most general contractors, Ironwood Commercial Builders, Inc. self-performs several facets of construction, including but not limited to light gauge metal framing and drywall, weather barrier, fireproofing, lath and plaster, as well as custom interior Venetian and historical plaster. Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized construction project manager to join our growing team. In this position, you will oversee superintendents, subcontractors, schedules, and project budgets. The project manager must have the ability to manage multiple projects at one time. The project manager must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a commercial construction manager, or in a similar position in construction management. Duties and Responsibilities Compile and plan budgets, cost estimates, and other financial estimates/projections Coordinate, plan, and manage schedules for customer and subcontractors Develop design build construction projects with architect, engineers, and clients Order and manage materials and equipment Provide internal reporting and projections Oversee and supervise construction project progress and provide reports on timeline, progress, and adjustments Perform the tasks of a cost estimator Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget Manage the submittal process Manage the RFI process Develop and negotiate change orders Complete project closeout Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently Able to manage a team of employees and multiple projects concurrently Experienced at compiling and following strict budgets Excellent verbal and written communication skills Accurate and precise attention to detail Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions In-depth understanding of the construction industry Self-motivated and self-directed
Computer Skills:
Proficient with Microsoft Office; Microsoft Project and experience with Project Management software preferred Organized and able to create multiple timelines, budgets, and schedules Able to build solid relationships with team members, vendors, and customers Beneficial Experience & Qualifications Minimum High School Diploma/GED required Bachelor's degree in construction management, construction science, engineering, architecture, or related field from an accredited university; preferred Willingness to travel is desirable. Current CQM Certification preferred 40Hr
EM 385-1-1
certification is desirable.
Commercial construction experience:

$110,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
