Candidate must have extensive experience on retail/commercial construction projects and preferably has bank and other ground-up and TI experience. We are located in Southern California but are licensed in many states. The qualified applicant should be conscientious, have common sense, have own tools and transportation, willing to travel and want to be a team player for a nationally recognized store builder. The overall responsibility for this position is on-site management: planning, organizing, controlling and completing construction projects. Manage construction projects by meeting the construction budget, managing sub-contractors, following through on scheduling commitments. Work seamlessly with the project managers and the customers. you have built. Letter of recommendation from the most previous employer would put you to the top of the hiring list. Responsibilities also include, but not limited to:
  • Knowledge of blueprints and ability to facilitate the job according to the plans and specifications.
  • Daily reports
  • Estimating support
  • Report progress
  • Conduct safety inspections and prioritize safety on the jobsite
  • Communicate daily with the Project Manager
  • Maintain a clean job site at all times representing a professional appearance and maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Coordinate Subcontractor trades
  • Osha Certified (30-hr)
  • Osha regulations awareness and compliance
  • Pass a background check
