Job Description
Coastal Development Group is an expanding, fast-paced new development general contractor of high-end SFR's and multi-family commercial projects. We are looking to add a hard-working, positive, and experienced Assistant Project Manager to our growing team. The APM will work directly with subcontractors, project managers, and superintendents. This position will be an entry level position with opportunity for advancement within the company. It is expected the APM will have a strong desire to learn and grow within the organization. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Provide administrative support to construction management team Obtain, verify, and finalize subcontractor and vendor bids Receive and maintain subcontractor records - contracts and insurance Process change orders and RFI's Coordinate material purchases and delivery schedules Update schedules, milestones, timelines, and budgets on cloud-based construction management software Correspondence with architects and engineers to obtain RFI's and plan changes Engage with utility companies for service orders and contracts Schedule inspections and on-site meetings Implement and help improve company's standard operating procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED 2+ years in construction administration or related field Proficient with Mac, Gmail, and Microsoft Office Suites Experience using cloud-based construction management software preferredIdeal Candidate Characteristics:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Focused, detail-oriented, and accountable work ethic Able to effectively prioritize and efficiently complete tasks in a fast-paced environment Active problem solver Quick learner who does not require constant supervision Works well in a team environmentBilingual Wages and Hours:
