Job Description

Duties and responsibilities The Field Supervisor is responsible for facilitating communication between property management and Headquarters. This role involves close collaboration with management to ensure continuous after-hours operational support for remotely managed accounts. This will be achieved through regular site inspections and by ensuring consistent site coverage.

Hard Requirements:
Must have a valid DL and clear driving record Duties required but not limited to:
  • Be instrumental in training, auditing and proof reading various reports, and ensure Security Guards are knowledgeable on how to respond to emergency situations or specific client needs
  • Make physical post inspections to ensure professional image (including the hygiene and uniform appropriateness of officers) and quality standards are being maintained; Post inspections also include checking that Post Order manual and inspecting the Post to ensure it is being properly maintained, cleaned and organized.
  • In charge of enforcing rules and regulations in regards to Overton Security policies and procedures.
  • Enforces and follows compliance of the site specific Post Orders and provides detailed instructions to officers for proper execution of duties.
  • Respond to call-offs or open shifts that occur during the FS's shift, which may include identifying other individuals to fill-in and/or standing post until such replacements arrive; ensuring site coverage at all times while adhering to all post-specific expectations.
  • Able to handle most issues that involve scheduling such as accommodating an officers personal circumstance, a submission of a time off request form, or the need for a current schedule update as a result of a call-off or a no show for a shift
  • Work with Account Managers to appropriately document coaching, counseling, disciplinary actions, training plans, and manage relationships with Security Officers.
  • Assist with job starts and account setups
  • Respond to Overton dispatch, attend to client emails, calendared events or site emergencies as they arise for effective assistance and resolve, and ensure communication to the appropriate Account Manager.
  • Completing assigned mobile patrol account inspections in a timely manner.
  • Identify any personnel problems occurring at posts, such as payroll issues, employee relations complaints or other concerns, and forward any such issues to Account Manager and/or HR Representative; may also be responsible for writing a report of the situation or assisting with an investigation, as directed by Management staff.
  • Distribute uniforms, equipment, janitorial supplies to posts as directed by the Branch office.
  • Inspect and maintain all company vehicles and assist with fulfilling service or car wash appointments.
  • Assist in organizing, inventorying, and maintaining supplies, uniforms, and other equipment
  • Ensure all site phones and other post equipment are working properly and work with the Branch office to replace equipment or re-configure non-operating phones. Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in Criminal Justice or 5+ years of equivalent work experience
  • At least 5 years of business management, operations, or supervisory experience
  • Strong computer and smartphone skills

  • Previous scheduling experience
REQUIRED
  • Previous contract security, management experience, preferred but not required military or law enforcement experience
  • Must have good interpretation of the Companies service goals and responsibilities
  • Must have a good standing driver's record and pass a background check.
  • Report writing skills is a MUST
  • Experience in developing, motivating, and training staff
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
REQUIRED
  • Ability to effectively multi-task, manage time, tasks, resources, and information to achieve goals and meet deadlines. (attention to detail a must)
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented management environment with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to learn and adapt to technology (computers, smartphones and camera systems)
  • Well developed skills in organization and decision making
  • Good interpretation of site-specific Distribution of Responsibilities
  • Must be a self-starter
  • Ability to walk/stand for an extended period of time
  • Ability to carry 45 lbs weight Overton Security Services (OSS)
