Construction Superintendent

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Construction Superintendent to lead and oversee construction projects from start to finish. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate all on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your leadership will drive collaboration among subcontractors, vendors, and project teams while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and construction specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your expertise in construction management and site supervision. Duties The job responsibilities of the Superintendent include, but are not necessarily limited to the following:

• Effectively monitor, direct, and coordinate jobsite logistics
• Review and be familiar with contract documents, specifications, shop drawings, and submittals
• Demonstrate a strong ability to analyze workflows, processes, production, and assemblies to determine alternative solutions
• Develop the overall CPM schedule with the project team and manage that schedule throughout the project
• Professionally represent field operations as the primary interface with the PM and design team
• Communicate effectively with a variety of Project relationships, including the Architect, Engineers, Inspectors, Subcontractors, Vendors, etc.
• Have a higher than standard regard for safety and be an ambassador of the Safety Program. Promote culture and lead processes consistent with Adair Family Wines Policies.
• Participating in the training
• Create cost estimates for labor, supplies, materials, and other project costs
• Collaborate with Project Managers and other construction management to determine budget and timeline
• Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers
• Create schedules for workers and subcontractors
• Maintain a daily log for the job site's operations and workforce
• Implement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient
• Ensuring that the construction project complies with all safety and building regulations
• Identifying, managing, and mitigating risk factors to ensure the construction goes smoothly
• Working closely with the Adair Family Winery Team to establish the requirements for the construction project
• Excellent communication abilities, including writing, speaking, and active listening
• Knowledge of construction budgeting best practices
• Understanding of construction equipment, including safe operating practices and signs of maintenance issues
• Great problem-solving and decision-making skills Experience
• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role within commercial construction projects
• Demonstrated ability to read complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
• Hands-on experience with construction site safety protocols aligned with OSHA standards
• Supervising experience managing diverse teams of tradespeople and subcontractors
• Excellent project scheduling skills combined with management expertise to keep projects on track from inception through completion

Pay:

$72,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
