About the
Role:
Jemby Electric is looking for a Construction Coordinator to support the successful planning and execution of projects from preconstruction through completion. This role is ideal for someone who is high organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. As a Construction Coordinator, you will work with field teams, vendors, subcontractors, and clients to keep projects organized, on schedule, and moving efficiently. This role is heavily focused on coordination, communication, procurement, scheduling, documentation, and office support. You will prepare projects for execution by coordinating materials, tracking schedules, reviewing plans and permit requirements, supporting code compliance, and ensuring teams have the information needed to keep projects progressing smoothly. You are just as comfortable reviewing plans and planning the next phase as you are walking the job, solving problems in real time, and holding the team accountable.
What You'll Do:
Ensure work aligns with plans, schedule, and scope Schedule crews, subcontractors, and inspections Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment Review plans, specifications, and project documentation Build and track project schedules, deadlines, and job progress updates Maintain organized project files, documentation, and correspondence Communicate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams Prepare for jobs and ensure projects are ready before mobilization
What We're Looking For:
2-5 years of construction, electrical, or project coordination experience Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to read and interpret construction drawings Experience with scheduling, procurement, or project administration Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Proficient with email, spreadsheets, and Microsoft office Motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving Compensation
What Earns What:
$60K- $70K Supports project coordination for all projects and jobs Handles scheduling, documentation, and procurement tasks accurately Developing understanding of plans, permits, and construction sequencing Maintains organized communication and project tracking Requires occasional support with prioritization and issue resolution $70K
- $80K Independently coordinates multiple active projects simultaneously Strong understanding of scheduling, procurement, and project workflows Proactively identifies coordination gaps and scheduling conflicts Communicates effectively across office, field, and vendor teams Consistently keeps projects organized and moving forward $80K
- $85K Operates as a highly reliable project coordination resource with minimal oversight Anticipates project needs and resolves issues before they impact schedule Drives efficiency through strong communication and organization Supports in maintaining timelines, documentation, and execution Demonstrates readiness for growth into a Project Manager or Operations role
