Job Description

The Superintendent (Construction Manager) is responsible for delivering a best-in-class customer experience by ensuring the client's products and installations exceed performance and quality expectations. This individual serves as the on-site technical expert, supporting installation, optimizing system performance, and driving customer satisfaction through strong field leadership and technical guidance. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support to customer sites, ensuring a high-quality installation experience and maximizing product value Interpret and translate civil, structural, and electrical construction drawings to support project installation Ensure strict adherence to OSHA regulations and the client's safety standards; prevent any work from proceeding without full compliance Lead, document, and report on all site safety meetings Support project preplanning activities, including: Plan review and constructability feedback Manpower planning and project sequencing Material takeoffs and requisitions Review of subcontractor scopes of work Maintain strong communication with Project Managers, Engineers, and clients to ensure project alignment Partner with Project Management to develop construction schedules and provide daily reporting on: Project progress Material deliveries Installation challenges Equipment/tool issues Overall site activity Coordinate daily work activities with subcontractors, electricians, temporary labor, and the client's personnel Drive quality control standards across all phases of installation Train and support large-scale field operations, including crews of 300+ personnel and subcontractors Provide technical guidance on electrical systems and building components to field teams and subcontractors Set up and train teams and clients on Huck tool usage, maintenance, and servicing Required Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of construction experience, with leadership experience (Superintendent, Foreman, Site Manager, or similar) Strong understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems Ability to read and interpret construction drawings (civil, structural, electrical) Experience working in fast-paced, field-based construction environments Proven ability to lead teams and manage subcontractors on-site Proficiency operating heavy equipment, including: Forklifts / Reach Forklifts Bobcats / Skid Steers Scissor lifts Solid understanding of basic construction tools and equipment Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $90000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
