Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent/Project Manager to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires a proactive leader capable of managing multiple facets of construction operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of construction management practices, project scheduling, and site coordination, contributing to the successful execution of complex projects across diverse sectors. Responsibilities Oversee all phases of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery. Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate seamless project execution. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software. Monitor construction activities on-site for safety compliance, quality standards, and adherence to schematics and blueprints. Manage procurement processes utilizing Construction estimating tools and HeavyBid to ensure cost-effective purchasing. Review contract documents, change orders, and scope modifications to mitigate risks and control project costs. Lead project meetings to communicate progress, address issues promptly, and align team efforts. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation, reporting, and collaboration. Ensure all work complies with local regulations, safety protocols, and environmental standards. Conduct regular site inspections to verify work quality and progress against project timelines. Manage project documentation including contracts, schedules, RFIs (Requests for Information), and submittals. Skills Extensive experience in construction site management with a strong understanding of civil 3D schematics and blueprints reading. Proficiency in Primavera P6 or Primavera scheduling software for detailed project planning. Familiarity with construction estimating techniques and tools such as HeavyBid. Skilled in using construction management software like ProCore and Bluebeam for project documentation. Strong knowledge of contracts administration and legal considerations within the construction industry. Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively. Proven ability in project coordination across multidisciplinary teams ensuring smooth workflow. Adept at interpreting schematics and technical drawings related to civil engineering projects. Experience with project management methodologies including risk assessment and mitigation strategies. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with (project stakeholders) at all levels.
