As a Construction Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the execution of various self-perform construction projects. You will lead our internal Tesla Construction team and collaborate cross-functionally with design, construction management and manufacturing departments to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget. What You'll Do Plan, estimate, coordinate, and oversee all phases of the construction project, ensuring it aligns with specifications and meets quality standards Supervise and lead a multidisciplinary construction team, fostering a collaborative and safety-focused work environment Manage project timelines, budget, and resources to ensure efficient and cost-effective completion of the projects Identify project risks and opportunities, actively managing them throughout the project lifecycle Collaborate with design, manufacturing, facilities and commissioning teams to address design modifications and ensure compliance with regulations Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing concerns promptly Enforce high standards for document configuration control and ensure incorporation of RFIs into final Record drawing What You'll Bring Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience in managing large-scale construction projects, preferably within the industrial or manufacturing sector that were ground-up and/or retrofit projects In-depth knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, and process systems Proficiency in material take offs and estimating from construction drawings Strong skills in Construction baseline development, change control, cost/schedule performance, and variance analysis Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to project challenges Ability to travel to various project locations as needed (up to 50%), often on short notice Compensation and Benefits Benefits Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire: Medical plans > plan options with $0 payroll deduction Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans, both have options with a $0 paycheck contribution Company Paid (Health Savings Accounts) HSA Contribution when enrolled in the High-Deductible medical plan with HSA Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefits Company paid Basic Life, AD&D Short-term and long-term disability insurance (90 day waiting period) Employee Assistance Program Sick and Vacation time (Flex time for salary positions, Accrued hours for Hourly positions), and Paid Holidays Back-up childcare and parenting support resources Voluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, and pet insurance Weight Loss and Tobacco Cessation Programs Tesla Babies program Commuter benefits Employee discounts and perks program Expected Compensation $72,000 - $156,600/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
