  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team.
In this role, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with senior project managers, superintendents, foremen, and design team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Your proactive approach and strong organizational skills will help drive project success while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about construction management and eager to develop their career in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist in developing project schedules using construction management software to ensure timely project delivery. Support the preparation and review of construction estimates, bids, and contracts to align project scope with budget expectations. Coordinate daily activities on construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Collaborate with project teams to monitor progress, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions promptly. Utilize tools like Autodesk, Bluebeam, and other construction management software for document control, RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and change orders. Track project costs, manage procurement processes, and assist in financial reporting related to project budgets. Facilitate communication among stakeholders including clients, design team., subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain clear project documentation and updates. Support contract administration by reviewing scope changes, change orders, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. Contribute to project documentation such as daily reports, safety logs, meeting minutes, and progress reports. Maintain a thorough understanding of construction site safety practices and ensure compliance at all times. Qualifications Proven experience in construction administration or related field; hands-on construction site experience is highly valued. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and software such as Autodesk, Bluebeam, or similar tools. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Strong knowledge of project scheduling techniques and construction management principles. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, contracts, and specifications. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills for coordinating with diverse teams and stakeholders. Knowledge of construction site safety regulations and best practices. Basic understanding of contract administration processes within the construction industry. Proficiency in time management to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
