This pivotal role involves managing on-site operations, coordinating teams, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and proficiency with industry-standard software tools. Duties Supervise daily construction site activities, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans and specifications Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate seamless workflow and communication Develop and maintain project schedules, look-ahead schedules, and daily work plans Oversee quality control measures, ensuring adherence to blueprints, schematics, and industry standards Manage site safety protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations, conducting regular safety inspections and trainings Conduct quality control inspections and ensure work meets plans, specifications, and applicable codes. Lead weekly subcontractor coordination meeting and communicate project updates to management. Identify and resolve field issues while minimizing schedule delays and cost impacts. Maintain accurate project documentation, daily reports, RFIs, punch lists, and progress records. Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent managing Ground-up commercial construction projects Demonstrated experience overseeing projects from site preparation and foundations through completion. Experience with commercial projects such as office buildings, medical facilities, retail centers, industrial buildings, schools, or public works projects preferred. Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and coordination of multiple trades Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for construction site safety management Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documents. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
