Are you an organized, detail-oriented individual with a knack for resourcefulness? Do you thrive on accuracy and keeping projects on track? If so, we want to hear from you! We are looking for a Construction Coordinator to join our close-knit team.Key Responsibilities Budget Assistance:
Assist in budget preparation, initiate and monitor bidding process, track project expenses, provide detailed project reports to track financial performance and work closely with management to ensure financial efficiency across all projects.Documentation Oversight:
Prepare, review, and manage budgets, contracts, permits, and other essential documentation, ensuring all necessary approvals are in place before project commencement.Administrative Management:
Input receipts for job costing and maintain accurate project budgets, manage lien waivers and releases to ensure compliance and protect company interests, execute client and subcontractor change orders ensuring all adjustments are documented and communicated.Vendor Management:
Source and manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, securing the best resources for our projects at competitive prices.Purchasing:
Manage material sourcing, ordering, and project preparations to ensure all necessary resources are available and organized for smooth project execution.Communication:
Answer incoming calls and respond to emails, ensuring prompt and professional communication with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and our own team.Project Coordination:
Schedule appointments and manage project timelines, coordinating with suppliers, subcontractors, and project managers to ensure tasks are completed on time and within scope. Follow up and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes or unexpected delays, ensuring project timelines are maintained.Operational Improvement:
Identify opportunities to streamline operations, enhance project management processes, and implement best practices that contribute to overall business efficiency.Qualifications Experience:
Five plus years proven experience in office management and project coordination within the construction industry.Technical Skills:
Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Buildertrend, Procore) and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Industry Knowledge:
Strong understanding of construction terminology, processes, and permit requirements.Multitasking Abilities:
Exceptional ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing, and managing time effectively with a keen eye for detail.Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.Problem-Solving:
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate challenges and develop proactive solutions.Adaptability:
Willingness to take on varied tasks, be resourceful, and adapt to the evolving needs of a small, dynamic team.Work Ethic:
Must be honest, reliable, and capable of working independently.Education:
